COVID-19 PHOTOGRAPHY PROTOCOLS
Adherence to State and Local guidelines
Following in line with a statement released by Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and by adhering to guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we believe we can begin the continuation of photography services under the following conditions:
Personal Protective Equipment
The use of PPE such as masks, gloves and hand sanitizer will be used while working with clients. Our photographers will remain in protective gear for the complete duration of shooting.
Clients will be provided with a mask for communicating with the photographer in between shooting– if they do not already have one.
Our photographers will be checking temperature 1 hr prior to each session to ensure they are free of any temperature. If there is a temperature present, the session will need to be rescheduled for a later date and time. We will not be able to give any refunds at this time, but will work to schedule with another photographer — if need be.
In addition, we will contact clients one hour prior to their session to confirm that a temperature check has been completed and there are no fevers present for any person who will be in attendance.
The photographer will remain 6 ft away or more. This will mean that the Photographer will not be able to show any image previews during the session. Images will be shared once edited.
We will be holding to strict appointment times, allowing sufficient time to sanitize photographic equipment and common areas after each client session. We are also limiting sessions to 30 mins to 1 hour. Unless we will be shooting at an event– which will be detailed under its own guidelines.
We will not be able to manipulate any props at this time. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we will offer verbal instructions.
For any individual or family sessions, we are limited to outside locations with low traffic, which means we will typically be shooting during early morning hours (8 am – 10 am).
We will be shooting events on a case by case basis with a written Covid-19 policy in place for guests. If we do not find that there is a strong safety plan set in place prior to booking, we will not book the session. In addition if the plan set in place prior to booking is not followed or corrected in a timely fashion, as decided by the photographer during the event, we will not stay to complete the event. We value the safety of our photographers and our clients and will not put anyone at risk.
PLEASE NOTE: This policy will be adjusted as new information arises. We are open to adjust where concerns are brought to our attention, but our ultimate goal is to keep everyone safe.
