Let’s Get to This Money: Understanding Sales and Your Bottom Line (9/4)

Let’s just be honest. Let’s just be real. You’re in business to make money. So before we start talking about marketing, we need to understand sales and how our marketing efforts translate to money.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to track and analyze sales
  • How to project sales
  • What information you should be tracking to understand how your marketing strategy impacts sales


Digital Presence Audit (9/11)

We need to know where we’ve been and how we got there to create an effective path forward. We will use this time to ensure all of the appropriate measures are in place to evaluate where we are in our businesses.

In this session, you will learn:

  • What you should be looking at to assess your online presence on social media
  • How to set up and understand basic Google Analytics G4



Who’s All Over There?: Identify Your Audience (9/20)

Who is your audience and do you understand them well enough to speak to them directly? How do they think and what’s the best way for you to engage with them? How do you even know!?

Building strategy without understanding your audience is like bringing an all meat pizza to a vegan potluck. Not cool at all.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to build out a customer avatar
  • How to find data on your current audience


Size Up Your Competition: Understanding what to look for when competing (9/25)

Are you watching your competition? Who are you watching and why? What do you look for when identifying a competitor?

9 times out of 10, if you are a small business you are not competing with larger brands. You are competing with the small to mid-sized companies around you. When you look for competitors, you should be looking at people that have shared customers that could choose their business over yours.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to identify your competition
  • How to analyze external data
  • How to identify your unique value proposition


Finding Your Voice (10/2)

Who are you and what do you make people feel? How do you speak to people and is it consistent? Does it resonate? How do you develop your brand voice and how much do you share? Are you connecting as a brand or the person behind the brand?

In this session, you will learn:

  • What does it mean to develop a brand voice
  • How to leverage your brand voice
  • How to establish consistency across platforms


Get Organized: How to Build Systems and Habits in Marketing (10/9)

If you really want to be successful, you’re going to have to get organized. What works for you in managing your marketing system? Do you have a system?

Typically, the larger you grow the less likely you are going to be able to manage marketing on a day-to-day basis. You’re going to need to develop a hybrid system that allows you to be consistent, while also stepping in to create organic, real-time content. 

This means developing processes and finding tools that work for you.

In this session, you will learn:

  • Different systems for managing content creation
  • Different tools for marketing
  • Systems to organize your time


Ready Set Goals (10/16)

Do you set realistic goals for your business? How do you measure success for you business? How do you track when you are doing well?

Some people want to be a million dollar business, some people don’t. Some people never plan to have teams. We don’t have to develop goals that align with what’s most popular on the internet. Set realistic and obtainable goals for YOUR business in YOUR own way and develop systems to track them.

In this session, you will:

  • Establish 3 goals for each quarter of 2024, based on everything we’ve learned


Content Planning & Scheduling (10/23)

We will build out our 2024 content calendar, highlight key dates and develop content, highlighting dates that are important to our brands.

We will complete the scheduling for our 1st Quarter of the year.

In this session, you will:

  • Create a content schedule
  • Forecast key dates for sales
  • Add content/copy to content planner
  • Build out templates
  • Decide on a scheduling tool and begin scheduling for Qtr 1
